Wanessa Souza
Wanessa Souza started her paralegal career fifteen (15) years ago. She focuses exclusively on Plaintiff’s personal injury law and medical malpractice. Wanessa handles a high volume pre litigation practice with personalized attention. In 2009, to better serve her clients Wanessa learned the practice from the defense perspective. During that time, she worked as the Chief Paralegal in the personal injury department. She mainly handled catastrophic injuries that were transferred into litigation. Wanessa became the Trial Paralegal for the department and worked on several catastrophic cases defending Progressive, Allstate, Geico, and AIG. She also worked for Tampa General Hospital on catastrophic medical negligence cases. However, Wanessa always felt passionate about Plaintiff law, which is why she decided to rejoin Friedland & Associates in 2016.
Wanessa maintained long lasting relationships with the firm’s present and former clients, and is well known for her friendly and sincere personality that enables her to connect with clients, understand their problems, and resolve their cases. She is originally from Brazil and lives a very active life style.
